Uitm Segamat

The next entry will tell you a story of a magical land where the the holy education institution takes place. For those who wonder where the heck is Segamat, is it even on the Malaysia Peninsular map? Oh yes dear, it's in Johor. Masuk ikut tol Tangkak ye kwn2 sekalian for those yg datang dari arah Melaka, Selangor dan seangkatan dengannya. Terdapat 2 kampus di bawah naungan UiTM Johor iaitu Kampus Segamat dan Kampus Pasir Gudang. Kampus Segamat is consider as kampus induk untuk UiTM Johor means any decisons and orders come from Segamat as the rektor resides here.

Eh, sebelum ni tak pernah dengar pun pasal Segamat, dalam hutan ke tempat gajah bertendang ke? McD ada? Wayang? Okay2 bertenang, for those yg dapat Segamat through UPU, your life is not over! I'm not gonna lie, it is in the middle of nowhere. We have squirrels, dogs, cats and sometimes a boar! Maybe that is probably why they called us Kampus Simfoni Alam because we're surrounded by true nature. Kahkahkah! 

Tapi jangan risau, the campus is 15 mins away  from Bandar Segamat. Di bandar ada macam2, McD, KFC, MarryBrown, Pizzahut, Domino's Pizza, Sushi King, Kenny Rogers, bowling and karaoke centre, you name it! Burger King? uh... nope hahaha so far no. Other than that, we have a shopping mall, One Segamat (OS). Don't get it wrong. It's far more different than One Utama ya. Please don't get any high hopes. You'll be disappointed. Dalam OS ni ada la cinema Lotus Five Star. Kalau bosan tu boleh juga datang melawat kawasan air terjun Gunung Ledang untuk berkelah Nak masuk dikenakan sedikit cas tapi x mahal.

Dalam kampus kita ada 3 cafe, Intan Food Court (IFC), Non Resident (NR) dan Pama. Semua pun sedap tapi kalau nak banyak pilihan pergi IFC. Kampus ni banyak student Diploma, student Degree tak ramai pun. Kalau bab hostel, mahasiswi degree first sem memang dapat duduk Blok Nilam. Nilam ni boleh dikatakan hostel siswi yg paling kelasss lah kat Uitm Segamat ni. We have 2 libraries, masjid pun aircond, wifi around the campus and in the hostel hmmm nope, no shuttle bus for students. You move around by foot as the campus is not that huge. Banyak tangga, exercise sikit yunk. We also have numerous fun activities throughout the year. Swimming pool? sorry, nope!

Can you bring your own car? Well..... Only non-resident students will be given uitm official car stickers and allowed to roam and park in the campus. As for residents, you are allowed to bring your own car however, you won't be given any stickers and for vehicles that do not have the uitm stickers, you can only park at the allocated parking lot and god damn, the place is pack with too many students' vehicles not to mention that the parking lot is quite far from the hostel blocks and classes.. My advice, kalau duduk hostel x perlulah bawak.

Habistu macam mana nak keluar enjoy? Amboiiiii ha kat sini kita ada teksi dan van kuning. Jangan risau ni bukan van putih yg culik budak tu, Van kuning ni mcm kereta sapu lah errrrr later you know lah. Price range van kuning RM3-RM4 depend on how many people per ride to town. Kalau teksi, RM18-RM20. Pakcik van peramah tapi nanti kalau kau jumpa polis bantuan hmmm maybe not so peramah la. Apa apa pun it depends on the situation. Anyway ni nak habaq, the price given is according to the current price. In the future, probably lagi mahal lah, i don't know.

Sebenarnya akak pun rasa terseksa gak duduk sini sebab x dapat nak pi concert Selena Gomez, Pentatonix dan Bigbang. Lols tapi fikir satu je, biarlah 3 tahun duduk dalam hutan ni kita belajar je lah elok2 kejar dean list tu walaupun dia bukan tuhan. Nanti dah grad, ha keluarlah pi sambung Master dan kerja kat tengah bandar tu. Okaylah, saje nak share pengalaman. Till we meet again.
